When Saints DB Tracy Porter’s intercepted Colts QB Peyton Manning and raced 74-yard for a TD with 3:12 left in Super Bowl XLIV you knew the party was on in the French Quarter. I swear I heard the city of New Orleans let out cries of joy and relief after realizing they were about to be crowned Super Bowl Champions.

Saints QB Drew Brees was named the games MVP after completing 32 of 39 passes for 288 yds and 2 TD’s.

“We play for so much more than ourselves,” said Brees. “We played for our city. We played for the entire Gulf Coast region. We played for the entire Who Dat nation that has been behind us every step of the way.”

I can’t imagine what this win means to the the city of New Orleans or the entire Gulf Coast region. But I can guarantee you this. They aren’t waiting until next week to start Mardi Gras.

Who Dat.
