(Washington, DC)  —  Investigators have found that the computer of a regional supervisor at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission showed 18-hundred attempts to download pornography over a 17-day period.  “The Washington Times” reports that over the past two years more than a dozen SEC workers have faced internal investigations after they were caught viewing Triple-X material on government computers.  The problem has gotten so serious that the incidents were noted in the SEC’s past four semiannual reports to Congress.  The agency’s sophisticated computer filtering system sparked the initial investigations.  A number of employees have apparently learned how to bypass the filter and still view pornography.
