Hip-hop star Nelly will be trying his hand as a journalist next month. AllHipHop.com is reporting that the “Hot In Herre” rapper will be working as a reporter for “ESPN the Magazine” during their sixth annual NEXT event. The ceremony takes place February 5th at the Fontainbleau in Miami Beach, Florida. Nelly will serve as the VIP red carpet interviewer, welcoming guests inside a 25-thousand square foot “tricked out interview tent.” Headlining at ESPN’s NEXT event will be R&B stars Keri Hilson and Ne-Yo. Fellow hip-hop acts Q-Tip and DJ. E will also perform during the evening. “ESPN the Magazine’s” NEXT issue features interviews and profiles with athletes who are expected to be the next big star in their respective sport.
