HOUSTON – It’s cold. It’s not. It’s cold. It’s not. If you’re tired of this weather roller coaster we’ve been on, sorry, it is going to continue. Thursday will be cold, but the weekend weather will actually be as different as day and night, 11 News Meteorologist David Paul said.

After what was a chilly Thursday morning, the mercury is expected to rise from the mid-30s to a sunny 63 degrees by Thursday afternoon. Friday will see warmer temperatures with highs in the 70s. Then the trickiness begins.

Saturday will see lows in the upper-50s and highs in the mid -70s, but Sunday will have lows in the 40s and highs in the mid-50s. That cooler weather pattern will continue through the beginning of next week. In fact, we could record our lowest temps of the season by the time Monday arrives.

The varying weather pattern is not exactly good for your health.

“It’s the kind of weather that can make you sick,” said Paul. So it is good to dress appropriately when going outside.
