HOUSTON – It’s beginning to feel a lot like December out there.

“Take your coat if you have to go out Monday night. Temperatures will be cold in the low-40s by 10 p.m. and we’ll start off chilly Tuesday – 35 degrees here in town,” 11 News Chief Meteorologist Gene Norman said.

It will be even colder in the northern suburbs. Norman said those communities should freeze overnight.

By Tuesday afternoon, highs should reach into the low-60s, but cloud cover will keep it from getting much warmer than that.

Along with that cloud cover, we’ll have a 30-percent chance for rain in the evening Tuesday.

On Wednesday, we’ll have a 20-percent chance for rain in the morning, lows in the low-40s and highs in the upper-50s.

After that, highs should warm back into the 60s as the week winds down, Norman said.
