A Florida man did his best to try to avoid cocaine possession charges, despite some overwhelming evidence.  Bradenton.com is reporting that police noticed a strong scent of marijuana coming from Raymond Stanley Roberts’ car during a traffic stop last Wednesday.  Roberts admitted to smoking pot the night before, and then consented to a search.  Authorities subsequently found a bag of marijuana and pieces of rock cocaine in the 25-year-old’s buttocks.  Roberts reportedly told officers, quote, “The white stuff is not mine, but the weed is.”  He then told police his friend had borrowed the vehicle and he didn’t see the cocaine sitting on the passenger seat until he got pulled over.  Unfortunately, police didn’t believe Roberts’ story and he was charged with possession of rock cocaine and marijuana.  He was released from the Manatee County jail after posting bail.
