Simon Cowell the sharp tongued judge of American Idol will be leaving the show at the end of 2010 to concentrate on bringing the American version of ‘The X Factor’ to US TV in 2011, according to his brother Tony Cowell.
Cowell will be following Paula Abdul out of the door, who left in August because she was unhappy with her contract and was replaced by Ellen DeGeneres. That will only leave Randy “The Dog” Jackson as an original judge of the show which premiered in 2002. Kara DioGuardi who was added last season rounds out the panel.
It will be kind of sad to see him go because I always looked forward to his critical and sometime harsh comments. Here is a video of Simon’s best disses.
