She’s back… and she’s has a new album she wants YOU to hear!
WOTS… Erykah Badu has plans of dropping her next album “New Amerykah, Part II: Return of the Ankh” early next year… YES! (we’ve ALL been waiting for this!)
If it sounds kinda familiar, well that’s cuz it should be! Her new upcoming album is the sequel to her ’08 release of “New Amerykah Part 1: 4th World War” (do you remember now?)
According to the Dallas native, she says…
“I called it Part II: The Return of the Ankh because this album is the sister of the left side of my brain — it is the right side… Part I was the left side of my thoughts — it was more socially political and my thought process was more analytical… the album is more emotional and flowy and talks about feelings. It reminds of the days of ‘Baduizm'”
