Former child star Gary Coleman has been hospitalized in Utah, according to reports.
The former Diff’rent Strokes actor, 42, was admitted to a medical facility on May 27 and underwent surgery for a mystery illness, reports TMZ.com.
Further details were unavailable as WENN went to press and the star’s agent, Robert Malcolm, had yet to respond to requests for a comment.
Coleman, who suffers from a congenital kidney disease which requires frequent dialysis, has faced a string of health problems in recent months – he was hospitalised in January and again in February 2010 after suffering apparent seizures
