Mike Ditka is denying it, but could it be true, did Ditka cut one on the air for the Monday Night Countdown?
The “fart” happened during a discussion between Cris Carter about the Giants-Eagles rival game that aired on MNF.
Was it a real fart or was it sound effects?
We know that if it was Ditka, he’s not admitting to it anytime soon.
Ditka told the Sun-Times, “It wasn’t me. Believe me, I’m to the point in my life where it doesn’t matter. One day I’ll be happy if I can leave a fart. Right now, it wasn’t me. I don’t care what they think. They can think anything they want.”
This isn’t Ditka’s supposed on air incident either, back in 2013, Keyshawn Johnson had to wake Ditka up during a morning pregame show when he appeared to have fallen asleep when Chris Berman was talking.
Now, they’re calling Ditka’s supposed fart, “Fartgate,” something that they took from the infamous Deflategate, the football scandal with the New England Patriots.
