Lets face it, a hot nail tech is hard to find – a nail artist is even harder. It’s all good, I (AyanaMack) promise if I come across a nail artist with skills I’m definitely gonna tell you about them, like my boy Roger Aguirre. Here’s his story.
When I was younger, I always knew I had a thing for art, fashion, nails, and always found a way to be on top of all the latest trends.
Coming from a Hispanic family, growing up was very difficult to embrace what I loved. I don’t like to be like everyone else, I always have to stand out even if it means take risks, so I’ve decided to enroll in the manicurist program of a local beauty school, and to this date it’s been the best decision of my life! I love doing nails, it’s my passion and I’ve been doing it for almost 3 years now.
When I first started doing nails, being a guy and with no experience ever, there was a point when I stopped and asked myself “Is this really what you want to do?”, but throughout the days and weeks, I’m finally happy and satisfied to be where I am now.
I currently work and manage an upscale nail salon in Houston, and in the hopes of one day become, one of the best nail technician to ever walk this earth.
