Mercedes rolled out its F 015 Luxury in Motion vehicle at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. It’s a “self-driving” or autonomous driving car that is the epitome of elegance of and technology. Equipped with with four rotating lounge chairs that allow a face-to-face seat configuration so you and your guest can enjoy each others company. It’s on some George Jetson type ish.
I’ll admit it that it this Benz looks dope as hell and the thought of being able to turn up at the club and let the car drive my drunk ass home is pretty enticing. But, I seriously doubt I could ever be completlely comfortable with a computer driving me home based on GPS navigation and whatever else space aged technology they have integrated into the car. I mean damn, there are some spots on the Beltway where I lose phone coverage so I most certainly can’t trust MY SELF-DRIVING CAR to always be 100.
