(THEBOXHOUSTON.com) — Say what you want about Drake. You don’t like his rapping, you don’t like his singing, he’s too emotional. But in my book, he get’s the “Coolest Artist of The Year Award.” He made a dream come true for 15 year old Kennedy Brown a student at The Carnegie Vanguard high school and is suffering from brain cancer.

Monday students threw her a ‘high school in a day’ experience in which they crowned her prom queen and congratulated her in a private graduation ceremony. They pulled off the whole thing in two days the only thing they couldn’t do was bring in her favorite rapper…. Drizzy Drake.

So the students launched a campaign using the hashtag #DrakeForKen which resulted in a phone call from Drake’s manager that her father Tony Brown thought was a hoax.

Kudos to Kennedy’s classmates and Drake for going all out in an effort to bring some joy to the Brown family during these most challenging of times.
