About Young Jas
Young Jas, AKA “Jas With The Juice," started off as a hardworking intern at iHeart radio in New Orleans. After graduating from The University of Texas at Austin, Jas soon after transitioned to Houston, TX to work as the Online Editor at Radio One. During a concert series she was working, Jas’ energetic personality caught the eye of Kendrick Lamar, to the point where he asked her to join him on stage during his concert for an impromptu performance.
Jas wowed the crowd and the producers of 97.9 The Box who offered her a co-host position on the legendary Madd Hatta Morning Show. Jas quickly moved up the ranks in the radio world and was given her own night show on 97.9 The Box from 7pm - 11pm. After two years of taking over nights, Jas has returned back to mornings joining Good Morning H-Town.
She balances her time off air by being active within the community and advocating for women and young people. Jas has also had notable interviews with guests like Miguel, Megan Thee Stallion, H.E.R., Doja Cat, Snoop Dogg, and many more. Young Jas's career continues to elevate as she has officially entered "Top 10 Rising Young Radio DJ's in the industry by Digital & Radio Facts."
