HOUSTON — An 8-year-old boy said three men tried to kidnap him twice in two days, KPRC Local 2 reported Tuesday.

Cheyenne Castillo walks the same route to and from Ermel Elementary School, 7103 Woodsman Trail, and home every day. He says he usually feels safe, but not anymore.

“A guy asked me if I wanted to go in the car, but I kept on going. I didn’t talk to them,” said Cheyenne.

The 8-year-old said three men in a white SUV approached him as he made his way home after school Tuesday and demanded he get into their vehicle.

“A little bit scared, because they wanted me to come in their car, but I don’t know why they asked me,” Cheyenne said.

But the second-grader said he knew better than to talk to strangers and bolted home.

“It’s terrifying to think he could be snatched up. It scares me and I don’t think I want him to walk home anymore,” said Rachel Mesa, the boy’s aunt and guardian. Cheyenne Castillo walks the same route to and from Ermel Elementary School, 7103 Woodsman Trail, and home every day.
