This is pretty major! Lizzo is gearing up to release her brand new album Cuz I Love You and one of the biggest songs on the album have arrived. The Houston native teamed with Missy Elliott for a brand new collaboration, “Tempo.” Listen to the high energy club track below via Apple Music and Spotify.
On how Lizzo got Missoy for the track, the singer says, “She sent me a memoji of herself singing her verse, thats how I got the verse… I got a memoji of Missy like smiling and then she just started rapping, and I was like, ‘OMG what the hell’ so I had to hook it up to my speaker system. But it wasn’t even the actual track, it was like her going along in her studio.”
Cuz I Love You is out April 9.
