So Instagram is back on their ish again, updating stuff without asking anyone what they think about it.
Social media was in an uproar on Thursday when folks woke up and realized that they could no longer swipe down their timeline. Now, we gotta swipe left-to-right as opposed to the original up-and-down. Kind of like when you’re viewing the Instagram stories. It’s pretty wack(y) if you ask us, or millions of other IG users.

Needless to say, no one is really feeling it. There are a number of things IG could’ve done to make the app better — so we put together a list, to help them and us out. Hit the flip to check it out.
Brought back chronological order

People have been begging the social media site to return it’s timeline back to chronological order ever since they made the big switch. Many months later and folks still aren’t feeling the weird algorithm.
Removed Likes

Kanye West made a pretty good point when he said that the idea of Instagram likes has a direct effect on people’s self esteem. Let’s face it — people will remove an IG photo that didn’t get enough likes because they feel it wasn’t good enough. Or even worse, they feel that they themselves aren’t good enough, or pretty enough as the person with thousands of likes on a a basic photo.
Added a Queue

Pretty much every other social media site allows you to schedule your next post, except IG. Think about how clutch it would be to be able to be off your phone for hours and still be able to post whatever you want, whenever you want. Social Media managers could get five times as much work done with this feature.
Adjustable Photo Size

Ever had on a dope outfit that you couldn’t wait to show off on the ‘gram, only to realize that the full photo couldn’t fit in the IG square? Then having to download pic stitch and photogrid just to have that weird black background in the back? We need a little more freedom, IG, what’s good?
More Filters

The classic IG filters like Ludwig and Lo-FI were cool were the app was initially released, but with Snapchat stepping it’s filter game all the way up, it’s time for the ‘Gram to do the exact same thing. Raise your hand if you’re tired of going to Snapchat just to use a cute filter, only to post it to your Instagram story.

Folks have been complaining for months now that IG doesn’t have night mode like Twitter does. WIth Twitter night mode, the app turns dark blue and isn’t as bright and ignant as it would be in the day time. But not Instagram, it’s pretty bright and obnoxious all day long. Maybe the IG gods will here the many cries of unsatisfied IG chasers.
