Bill Bellamy stopped by The Madd Hatta Morning Show ahead of his shows this week at the Houston improv and broke down a number of topics regarding social media comedians, the show within a show on HBO’s Insecure in Kev’yn, parenting as the funny guy, his influence dating back to How To Be A Player and more!

On How To Be A Player:
“I helped a lot of dudes get booty in the ’90s. When I did How To Be A Player, y’all didn’t know how to get no chicks! Y’all was like, ‘How do I do this thing?’ I came in the game and showed everybody how to be a player and that movie alone got me so much love across the board! Even chicks was like, ‘I ain’t even know y’all was like that.’ To this day dudes come up to me, 25, 35, 45 and say, ‘Yo I was in high school, I was in college and that was my go-to movie!’
On why nobody hates him:
“I don’t know, I just be in the pocket! I ain’t on Instagram straight stuntin’ and doing all kinds of crazy stuff. I ain’t trying to thug out on fools even though some times I feel like that.”
