Machine Gun Kelly In Concert - Detroit, MI

We knew a lot of people were going to be mad over Eminem‘s disses on his recent Kamikaze album. Leave it to Machine Gun Kelly to take up the baton for everybody disappointed in Em with “Rap Devil.” Only days after sparring with G-Eazy, the Cleveland rapper comes after the one guy he’s always considered the GOAT.

The title is a play on Em’s memorable “Rap God” track from a few years ago and MGK doesn’t mince words on the track, saying the album only came about because Em’s sober and bored, how the “Real Slim Shady” can’t stand up, how he’s always yelling at the mic and more. It gets even deeper as MGK alleges that Em not only got him shelved from Interscope but Em’s running behind management and other people and playing tough.

“Let’s call Sway ask why he can’t go up to Shade 45 because of you,” Kelly raps. “Let’s ask Interscope how you had Paul Rosenberg trying to shelf me / Still can’t cover up the fact the last four albums as bad as your selfie / Now tell me what do you stand for? / I know you can’t stand yourself.”

Em first responded to MGK on “Not Alike,” rapping, “But next time you don’t gotta use Tech N9ne if you wanna come at me with a sub-machine gun. And I’m talking to you but you already know who the f*** you are, Kelly, I don’t use sublims and sure as f*** don’t sneak-diss, but keep commenting on my daughter Hailie.”
