Jeanette Ortiz is going to make sure she gets extra guac if she should ever go back to Chipotle. That’s because the Fresno woman was awarded $8 million from Chipotle after winning a wrongful termination lawsuit.
Chipotle accused Ortiz, a former manager at a store location in Fresno, California of stealing $636 from the famous taco and burrito restaurant in 2015 and claimed there was video evidence of it. However, the company never produced the video in court.
Chipotle plans to appeal the ruling.
