When you get Jhené Aiko and Ella Mai in one building, it is going to be about feelings. Not just breakups or love songs but that in-between stage. That “I got me and I’m exploring life” stage. At Box Springfest 2018, both singers kept pushing the hits while also ensuring that the audience was in a trance all night.

The sold-out crowd kept up the energy all night, girls singing “Sativa” and “From Time” and “Post To Be” at the top of their lungs, just as they had done for “Boo’d Up” and “Naked.” There aren’t too many R&B shows that manage to give everyone their money’s worth but with Jhené and Ella, people got extra change and a tip with the show.
