Fat Tony is a man of frugal tastes. Beyond taking Houston hip-hop and the culture at large south of the border with his party series, the Third Ward rapper has maintained a love affair with his favorite spots and more. He named his last album MacGregor Park after all.
For “Money All Around,” the last single from said album, Tony is chillin in the pool and is balling as if he’s rich, when he truly isn’t. “Most folks are fascinated by this whole idea of success being flaunting money by literally throwing it around. It isn’t something that I do in my normal life, but I wanted to kind of mock that with this video,” Tony says of the clip. “There’s a scene of me in a hot tub with some girls and with money laying on me while I’m drinking wine. It’s a silly way of poking fun at a lot of the imagery that people think is necessary to be a successful rapper.”
