The “Inside The NBA” was enjoying themselves on the air Thursday night when they with jokes on the Ball family, LaVar, LiAngelo & LaVar in light of the right events.
It originally started when host Ernie Johnson started with Lonzo Ball’s Lakers highlights vs. the Wizards. The jokes immediately started on LiAngelo’s arrest for shoplifting sunglasses at the Louis Vuitton store while in China.
“Do you think he went shopping in DC?” Shaquille O’Neal asked.
“Better go to the Sunglass Hut,” Charles Barkley said. “I guarantee they don’t have security at the Sunglass Hut.”
Ernie Johnson tried steering the topic back to the highlights, but the others were having too much fun with sunglasses jokes..
“I will say this about the Lakers,” Smith quipped. “Their future is so bright, they’ve got to wear shades.”
At some point the O’Neal even sang a piece of the 1984 song, “Sunglasses at Night” by Corey Hart.
