Last night in Plano, Texas, a group of football fans were enjoying a Dallas Cowboys watch party when violence erupted killing seven people and sending two to the hospital. The horrific incident reportedly took place shortly after a man and a woman were overheard by many and seen by others engaging in a heated argument outside of the house.
One witness, Crystal Sugg told FOX 4, “I seen a man argue with a woman. They were standing outside and they’re arguing. The woman was trying to go back in and as she was going back in the house, you seen the man pull out his gun and starting just releasing,” Sugg said.
She continued with saying, “He just started letting them go. It was an automatic. You could hear it go off multiple times, you could hear it just ring off.”
Allison Harris with FOX tells us at the scene, “Police say they got a call about shots fired at this home at about 8:05 p.m. When police arrived at least one officer went inside the home saw a shooter open fire.” The shooter was shot dead after he took aim at the cop.
They police spokesman David Tilley told Dallas Morning News, “I’ve been here all my life. I’ve never heard of anything like this.”
Witnesses in the neighborhood said that they heard between 30 to 40 shots.
“My neighbor had already heard the first couple of shots, and we came outside and next thing you know, all you heard was like, pop, pop, pop. pop, pop, pop, pop, pop,” Steven Featherland told Fox
He said, “It was like 30 to 40 rounds. That’s when we both went inside.”
So far there are no motives to why the unidentified man went inside shooting, but they did say that all his victims were adults.
Crystal Suggs said, “The argument was a good 10 minutes. You could hear it getting really, really loud. You could tell it was getting disturbing, like there was something about to happen. It caused people to come outside.”
“I heard a lot of screaming,” she said. “A lot, a lot of screaming… Nobody was running… All you heard was just shooting. Just shooting. Just boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom.”
