A prison that is just two hours from London England has busted some of their inmates for stealing WiFi from the neighboring houses in order to watch porn.
If you’ve seen the prison TV shows then you know that cell phones are contrabands, but that didn’t matter because this is how the inmates were watching that porn by the help of “hotspots”.
The residents that live near the prison received a letter to let advising them to protect or turn off their hotspots.
One of the neighbors was a 70-year lady who said, “They said inmates were using residents’ internet connections and asked us to get our security checked.”
She continued with saying, “But I’m not happy. It should be the prison who sorts out any problem, not us. The real problem is that prisoners shouldn’t have mobile phones in the first place.”
Another neighbor, Peter Jackson, 65, said, “I think people would be disgusted their interest was being used by criminals, especially if it’s to view porn. God knows what these people might be looking at.”
The Prison said that they were taking “decisive action” to locate those cell phones that made their way into the jail.
