United Airlines is currently experiencing some very severe turbulence in the form of backlash on social media. It all stems from a video of a seated passenger being forcefully removed from a plane after being randomly selected to give up his seat to accommodate crew members. Checkout his terrible statement below: Notice no apology to the passenger that was dragged off the plane though. He even doubled down on his stance in a letter sent to employees that was obtained by multiple news sources. “This situation was unfortunately compounded when one of the passengers we politely asked to deplane refused and it became necessary to contact Chicago Aviation Security Officers to help,” the letter says. “While I deeply regret this situation arose, I also emphatically stand behind all of you, and I want to commend you for continuing to go above and beyond to ensure we fly right.” Unfortunately it was too late for United as they were the ones now getting forcefully dragged down people’s timelines.
