It’s refreshing to see Dave Chapelle back in action. Anytime a prolific African American walks away from a large sum of money, the public automatically says they are “crazy”. The Chapelle Show was one of my favorites! When me and baby moved in out first apartment, we didn’t have any cable. Every night I fell asleep to the theme song.
To walk away from 50 Million, and it comes back to you years down the road, has to be a great feeling. Morals & principles are in short supply these days. Check out his interview where Dave explains why he doesn’t allow phones at his shows.
