It’s dope to see black actors recite monologues from classic plays. More often than none, African-American’s didn’t get chosen for roles like Lady Macbeth whenever I would see it done in high school. I feel as though our community strays away from theater, because we are not well-represented on stage. We are at a pivotal time now, we’re things are starting to change. THANK GOD!
