“Sweetie Pies” considered opening a Houston location a few years ago, but Ms. Robbie wasn’t quite ready to make the jump. Looks like her and the family are ready to take that giant leap into the H. According to BizJournals.Com, the soul food restaurant is setting up shop at 6356 Richmond Ave. (where Beaucoup used to be). It’s set to open up next year and I think it’s just what the city needs. Not only would it bring more attention to H-Town, but it will also bring another black owned business into the market. Let’s support these people!!!
