In a truly touch video, you can see a group of 400 students from Nashville’s Christ Presbyterian Academy outside of their teacher, Ben Ellis’ house singing to him.
Mr. Ben Ellis is a teacher who teaches Latin and Bible studies at the school and he is currently battling an aggressive form of cancer.

The school’s Headmaster Nate Morrow said that Mr. Ellis has been working through the chemo and radiation treatments because working helped him process through it all.
The headmaster said that last Wednesday, Mr. Ellis had a bad morning after receiving difficult news the night before and he told CNN that “The High School principal, Parker Altman, said, ‘Ben has loved us well. Stop what you’re doing, load up the buses. We’re going to his house to worship with him.'”
And that’s what they did, the faculty loaded up and they gathered outside of Mr. Ellis’ house and they sang to him.
400 students gave back and sang to their teacher with “Holy Spirit You are Welcome Here.”
“He found peach worshiping with others,” Headmaster Morrow said.
The other day, the singer and actor Tim McGraw posted a video on his Facebook:

a friend sent this to me today. Ben Ellis is a Nashville area high school teacher battling cancer. The entire student body (400+ students plus HS faculty) drove to his house to worship with him. Our thoughts and Prayers are with him and his family….. So precious and kind.

Since Tim McGraw posted the video to his Facebook page, the video of Mr. Ellis being sang to has received over 19 million views, 704 thousand likes and shared 374, 249 times.
Some of the comments came from Mr. Ellis’ family members, his father and his sister:
Bob Ellis Thank you, Tim. Ben is my son. Through his ministry and teaching, he has positively touched countless hundreds of lives directly and many thousands indirectly. He, his wife and children are a beautiful family.
Cherlyn Ellis Thank you all for the positive words of encouragement from all over the USA for my big brother, Ben. It means a lot to us to see how loved and thought of he is by so many.
Another comment by Shannon Lee Seibert who wrote her touching comment and sharing a letter that Mr. Ellis wrote to the students too.
Shannon Lee Seibert There are more sweet details to this story! Miracles and the overwhelming presence of the Holy Spirit. Our children attend CPA and my high schooler LOVES Mr Ellis, he was her Latin teacher for 2 years. We ALL love Mr. Ellis and his precious family. The kids were giving back to him some of the love he has given to them. He is the definition of a teacher, a role model, a servant. He wrote the kids a letter telling them he is even more certain now that God is Good and with us. And Ben is full of hope, joy, and peace. He told them to look to Jesus to be filled. Here is the letter from our principal that the parents received that day: “I wanted to give you an update on this morning’s change of schedule and chapel for the high school, as it was a bit unorthodox, but sometimes that’s just how the Holy Spirit calls us to be.

Over the course of last night and into this morning, three separate and unrelated people approached me saying that while praying they received a vision of the high school students and faculty singing praises on the front lawn of the home of Ben Ellis, our Latin teacher who is battling cancer and who loves a good hymn sing. So, we loaded the buses and cars and went.

It was a powerful and moving outpouring of love that our students were able to bestow upon a man who loves us well.

We returned to campus and went straight into chapel, where we prayed and praised God. It was broken and beautiful.”
