El Chapo’s latest recapture has up’d that extradition talk after he spent six months away from the second Mexican prison that he escaped from.
The first time he escaped had him on the run for more than a decade and when he was recaptured, the United States wanted him extradited after he was caught, but Mexico wanted to detain him themselves.

Maybe it’s a lesson learned because we learned today that Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman extradition to the United States was OKAYED by the Mexican government.
El Chapo faces charges from seven US federal prosecutor… such as money-laundering and arms and drugs possession.
The United States has said that the death penalty is not on the table where El Chapo is concerned too.
His lawyer Juan Pablo Badillo said that they are fine for appeals…. guess we’ll have to see what happens next.
