It makes me feel like I actually know what I’m talking about when I beg people to jam stuff like “Hamilton” and then it ends up winning the Best Musical Theatre Album at the 2016 Grammy awards. For those who don’t even like broadway shows, this might be one that could ease you into the performing arts. “Hamilton” is not that classical, opera-type show; it’s geared toward a younger/hipper audience (As if people still use the word “hip”). Lol No, but really: Lin-Manuel Miranda is a genius! The show is about America’s founding father Alexander Hamilton…but it’s told through rap music. “Hamilton” has been sold-out in New York, but it’s coming to the H for the 2017-2018 Broadway at the Hobby Center season.If you want a guaranteed seat, it’s best to become a season ticket holder because they get first dibs!
