In 2011, Ted Williams was recorded as the homeless man with the that Golden voice where stood at a stop light and talking in his announcer voice.
Ted Williams got caught up in alcohol and drugs and was down and out at the time, but after his video that recorded by The Columbus Dispatcher went viral, his life changed. Yup, but this new change was a change for the best this time.
Ted was the man with the announcers voice and the sign that he held up said so too.
Where is Ted Williams now?

Well, as of today, Ted appeared on the Dr. Oz show updating his whereabouts. Ted told Dr. Oz the currently co-hosts “The Golden Voice Show” on an AM radio station in Columbus, Ohio with Scott Anthony, his manager.
He also said he recently received an endorsement with Pepsi and was making a movie called “The Game Done Changed” appearance as himself, the radio host.
The AM station that Ted works at is the same station that he worked at in the 80’s and the general manager for the station said it wasn’t a difficult decision to make in re-hiring Ted back.
Here is the rest of his story too, over at the Columbus Dispatch.
