It happened to 17-year old Garret Wayman, a waiter in Wichita, Kansas when he found a $20 left underneath the ketchup bottle.
Garret said that the closer he got he realized that the $20 wasn’t a real and when he picked it up, he saw a pamphlet for Christianity instead.
Garret had feelings of frustration because he’s fighting debt, school and a job on his own.

He said, “I’m 17-year old, $7,000 in debt because I had to buy myself a car, juggling full-time school, and working seven days a week.”
The pamphlet read, “Don’t be fooled! There is something you can have more valuable than money.”
Garret posted a picture of the fake $20 and the inside showing the religious message too

Garret said, “I wanted to tell him that I only make $3 an hour and bust my a** at my job to make way less than I deserve, but he was gone by the time I had the chance to.”
Tech Insider said that the did research and found out that Garrett isn’t the only waiter/waitress that has been tipped with fake money that is accompanied by a religious messages on the back.
