Yesterday, the Washington Washington Football Team lost to the GreenBay Packers in their WildCard game 35-18.
There is no Super Bowl action for the Washington Football Team this season, but their former 1986 draft pick, Mark Rypien’s Super Bowl ring is back up for auction.
The former quarterback spent his first two years in the NFL on IR, injured reserves, with a bad knee, but in 1988, the Washington Football Team won Superbowl XXII against the Broncos giving Rypien a Super Bowl ring too.

The Super Bowl XXII ring originally went up for auction in 2013, but the current owner decided to put it up on the Goldin Auctions at a starting bid at $15,000.
The ring is expected to sell for around $50k…
Luckily for Rypien, the XXII ring wasn’t his only Super Bowl ring, Rypien also took the Washington Football Team to the XXVI Super Bowl in 1992 against the Bills.
