They said it’s not something that you see often, but it’s happened before… the Jets’ guard, Willie Colon got a 15 yard penalty for sideline trash talking during yesterday’s game against the New York Giants.
Colon who is out with a knee injury and was placed on injury reserves in mid-November was flagged yesterday for unsportsmanlike conduct after 17 yard completion. The penalty that went against his Jets was for 15 yards.
Colon was trash talking to the New York Giants’ cornerback, Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie when he was handed that penalty and he got lucky that it didn’t cause the game too because the Jets won against the Giants.
It was a close game yesterday 23-20.
