Spotify released its annual Year in Music results yesterday (December 1).

According to reports on Billboard, Drake was the most streamed artist in the world in 2015 with over 1.8 billion streams and 46 million listeners.

Perhaps not surprisingly, Spotify say that Major Lazer’s “Lean On” featuring and DJ Snake was the most streamed song of 2015 with over 540 million listens, thus making it the most streamed song of all time.

The accolade for the most streamed album in 2015 went to The Weekend for his sophomore studio project, Beauty Behind The Madness. Drake came in second for If Youre Reading This Its Too Late.

On November 13, the day his fourth studio album Purpose was released, Justin Bieber set the record for the most streams in a single day, with 36 million.

Ed Sheeran, 2014’s top streaming artist, is now Spotify’s most streamed artist of all time with more than 3 billion streams to date, and over 59 million listeners this year.

Overall, Spotify said 75 million listeners streamed over 20 billion hours of music this year.
