Yesterday for NFL football Sunday, Fox Sports announced their newest member, Alex Rodriguez, “A-Rod”.

Announcing the newest member of the @MLBonFOX crew: Alex Rodriguez! @AROD discusses on FOX NFL Sunday

They did a little backstory about A-Rod and his love for football and baseball and The University of Miami, talking about Jimmy Johnson recruiting him back in his college days.
The regulars Michael Strahan, Terry Bradshaw, Howie Long, Curt Menefee and Jimmy Johnson appeared to have fun with Fox Sports’ newest member.

They talked about A-Rod’s high school Quarterback career and the fact that he had a dream to play QB in college.
When A-Rod was recruited to the U, he had signed a letter of intent to play baseball, but he also wanted to play quarterback for their football team.
A-Rod turned down Miami’s baseball scholarship and did not play college baseball, but in 1993, he was selected in the first round of the Amateur draft and signed for the Seattle Mariners after being selected.
The show’s producer thought that it would be good to way to start the show off with A-Rod showing his QB skills by throwing a football to football’s reporter, Jay Glazer.
Of course, they didn’t think this one thoroughly because Glazer is only 5’7 verse Alex Rodriguez’s 6’3 stance.
It’s like Strahan said (while laughing), “That’s our fault because we should have gotten someone taller…”
Later A-Rod posted on Twitter, “I’ll try not to break anything else.”
