Last week Mayweather had an interview with Stephen Smith talking about Muhammed Ali and Sugar Ray Robinson… he’s saying that you can’t say they were better than him.
In another interview, Mayweather, Jr. said that Ali called himself “The greatest”, but he called himself “T-B-E: The Best Ever.”

That was all he needed to hear because Muhammad Ali wasn’t keeping his thoughts to himself anymore. Nope, Ali took to twitter to make a response to Mayweather’s comment.
It doesn’t matter that he said, “I’m going to take my hat off to those guys and respect those guys because those are the guys that paved the way for me” because he still gave himself f a label similar to Ali’s.
The Boxing world’s 73-year-old legendary fighter said in his Tweet Monday, “Don’t you forget, I am the greatest! #MuhammadAli”
Ali didn’t just aim that Tweet at Mayweather either, he also aimed at Houston’s George Forman…
Why?
Last week, Foreman told TMZ that Mayweather was correct, “Pound for pound, Floyd is better than me and Muhammad Ali ever were.”
Foreman also said, “This is a better generation BY FAR. They’re smarter, they’re strong, they’re overall just better fighters.”
The fight’s this weekend… the “Fight of the Century!”
