The Nevada State Athletic Commission announced that Kenny Bayless will referee the fight for Mayweather and Pacquiao…. they announced something else too, his salary.
It’s not something that you see come out often… or ever, but for this epic fight, the salary for the judges and for the referee were also announced.
The NSAC also announced that the judges along ringside will be Burt Clemens, Dave Moretti and Glenn Feldman.
It’s amazing what these five people will earn for that one fight… Bayless will earn $25,000 and the each judge will earn $20,000 for the May 2nd fight.
Who’s surprised?
Considering that Mayweather and Pacquiao are said to be making $300 million together, than it should be too surprising at all.
Kenny Bayless refereed the Pacquiao/Marquez fight where Marquez caught Pacquiao making the decision a KO. He also refereed the second fight for Mayweather/Maidana.
