(HOUSTON, TX) A Houston woman tracks down her wedding ring, one year after it was stolen in a burglary.
Sherry Gonzalez says the prosecutor called her, saying that one of the suspects told them where he’d sold the ring.
Gonzales told our news partner, KHOU 11, she visited PlazAmericas in Sharpstown and with a little help from a police officer, went to every jewelry shop until she found the right one.
She recognized her ring, even though it was covered with dirt. Gonzales does not have possession of her ring just yet. She still has to go to court and prove that it is indeed hers.
