(PASADENA, TX) — A first-grade student was caught with a loaded gun in a Pasadena elementary school Monday.
Pasadena Independent School District officials said the student took his parents’ handgun to Kruse Elementary on Park Lane near Main Street.

The boy reportedly showed to the gun to a classmate, and then that child told a teacher.
When the teacher questioned the student, he confirmed he had a gun with him.
Pasadena ISD said the teacher took the student and the gun to the principal’s office, and the school district police were called to the school.
The boy was disciplined and he won’t be in that classroom for the rest of this year.
No one was injured.
