(HOUSTON — Police are searching for three armed robbers who hit two convenience stores on the north side Thursday night.

The men wore masks as they entered the Diamond Shamrock on Boudreaux Road, near Sharon Parkway and forced customers to the ground.

Two jumped the counter and took money and cigarettes.  A shot was fired at a woman who confronted the robbers, but she was not hit.

In the second robbery, police say the three hit the Texaco at FM 2920 at N. Howard in Tomball.  No shots were fired this time, the men got away with some money and other items from the register and customers.
