CNN news Anchor, Don Lemon, asked the question is the word “thug” a racist term? He posed the question after seeing a video of a black toddler swearing, saying the “N” word, sexual suggestive comments and flipping the bird while being pushed to do so by adults off camera.
The Omaha police released the video on its’ website saying it was a warning about “the thug cycle” in America.
Many people were outraged saying that it sent the wrong message about young, black boys and Lemon believing that there was some value in drawing attention to the inappropriate behavior.
When breaking down the story Lemon used alot of imagery, including music and video clips of Houstons’ own, Slim Thug.
