Successful singles ranging from used clothes (“Thrift Shop”) to gay rights (“Same Love”) helped earn the duo a Best Rap/Hip-Hop honor at the American Music Awards Sunday (Nov. 23). Which naturally meant slander from the Twitter peanut gallery.
