Clare Horton, A Wales, U.K. teacher, has been found guilty of misconduct and banned from teaching for seducing a 16-year-old student by sending racy pictures of herself on Facebook.
The 33 year-old teacher supposedly met with the student for a ‘rendezvous’ after school at her place. Afterwards she took him home and then picked up her 2 children. Rumors spread throughout the school quickly causing Horton to take a two week sick leave and upon returning admitted to sleeping with the student and handed in her notice.
According to the Telegraph, the student told police that he’d had sex with the design and technology teacher on the sofa at her home after she’d driven him there.
Horton, admitted to sending the selfies to the student but now denies that actual sex occurred. Saying that all she took was ‘the hand of friendship’. She said she chatted with him about her divorce and fell asleep beside him for a couple of hours and that’s what she is guilty of.
Horton said she was being told she was ugly, fat, useless and worthless and that had her down, as well as dealing with her divorce.
