The Houston Rockets loss a heartbreaker to the Los Angeles Lakers Thursday night at the Toyota Center 99-98. And Rockets GM Daryl Morey saw it coming. With the Lakers up 64-50 at halftime Morey sent out this tweet.

The Rockets were about to blow a hole into Morey’s analytics as they held a 98-96 lead in the closing moments. That’s when Lakers Guard Steve Blake got open off a screen, received a direct in-bound pass and easily knocked down a 3 with 1.3 seconds left on the clock. Game over.
Maybe we will get ’em next time January 8th when they come back to town.
