It’s official: New York Yankees’ third baseman Alex Rodriguez has been suspended for over 200 games.

But don’t cry for him just yet: according to Staten Island Live, A-Rod can still play ball, pending the appeal of his suspension. A-Rod is one of many ballplayers whom the MLB has suspended on the grounds of steroid use. Others accepting the suspensions included New York Yankees catcher Francisco Cervelli and outfielder Fernando Martinez; Philadelphia pitcher Antonio Bastardo; Seattle catcher Jesus Montero; New York Mets infielder Jordany Valdespin and outfielder Cesar Puello; Houston pitcher Sergio Escalona; San Diego pitcher Fautino De Los Santos; and free agent pitcher Jordan Norberto.
