Yesterday, Kelly Rowland’s new album Talk A Good Game hit stores behind the lead single “Dirty Laundry.” Kelly stopped by Good Morning America Wednesday to discuss her new album and the meaning behind her lyrics on the track.
Kelly gets very personal discussing her abusive relationship and what she was going through while her fellow Destiny Child’s sibling Beyonce was transforming into King Bey. There has been much speculation from blogs and even Kelly’s former boyfriend, NFL player Roy Williams, about who she was talking about. Kelly does not divulge that detail, but simply states that she is in a better place now and so happy for Beyonce.
Kelly also gave a sneak peek of the video “Dirty Laundry” and talked about what it was like filming the video and even crying as she was doing so. Later she also took time to hit the stage and her perform her new single with G.O.O.D. Music artist Pusha T titled “Street Life”.
