Tony Parker got game. The San Antonio Spurs point guard put on a show for the ages in game one of the 2013 NBA Finals and lead his team to a 92 to 88 win against the defending champs, the Miami Heat.

Sports fans were marveling over Parkers stat line (21 points and 6 assists) and shot selection, but leave it to Twitter to make the one association Parker probably wants to leave in the past–the Club W.I.P. fight between Chris Brown and Drake. The Frenchman is suing the club and Chris Brown for injuries he sustained in the June 2012 brawl.
Before Parker could swagger back to the locker and await booty call texts from his ex Eva Longoria, fans pounced on the incident as both proof of his resolve and haters used it to bolster their hopes for game two.
Tony Parker survives a Chris Brown/Drake bottlefight last June AND has a game like that in Game 1 of the Finals?! #gstatus—

I’m proud of how far Tony Parker’s come. From almost being blinded in one eye by Drake to hitting the dagger in Finals game one.—

Ever since Drake hit Tony Parker in that club with a bottle he’s been snapping lol.—

You coulda smacked Tony Parker in the eye with a glass bottle again like after the Drake and Chris Brown fight and he still woulda made it.—

Lest we forget that Tony Parker was caught in the now infamous ‘Battle of the Light Skin Dudes’ @ Greenhouse with Drake and Chris Brown.—

Game two is on Sunday in Miami and we suggest that Parker and his teammates stay out of the South Beach clubs because all they have on the menu is bottle service. And we’re sure Tony has had enough of that.
